Abstract Purpose The article aims to analyze organizational politics (OP) as a construct with four dimensions: planning, improvisational, learning, and entrepreneurial. We also examine the relationship between strategic political management OP effectiveness of company, which is understood be competitive advantage. Finally, we aim verify whether there mediating role for in association an enterprise, Design/methodology/approach Quantitative research was conducted on sample 355 medium-sized large enterprises operating Poland. Findings Also, supposition positively related company confirmed. did not, however, find enough evidence support hypotheses about enterprise. Practical implications sheds light potential use tool. Authors argue that can opportunities functional become strategically stronger than those do not have this ability. In particular, enterprise instruments should include inalienable medium growth.
